Is the Anna Foundation legitimate and properly registered?
The Anna Foundation is a non-profit charity organisation and a registered Public Benefit Organisation according to Section 18A of the Income Tax Act. The organisation is also a Level 1 B-BBEE Contributor as a Micro Enterprise Specialised Entity with 100% per definition black beneficiaries with a 135% B-BBEE procurement recognition. 

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, financial donations are tax-exempt for South African donors. We can issue you a Section 18A donation receipt for tax purposes.

Will I receive updates on how funds are used for the Anna Foundation?
Yes. We provide all donors with written reports halfway through the year and upon completion of the funding cycle. This transparency illustrates the impact of their donation and shows the breakdown of how we’ve spent the funds. External providers audit all financials to ensure transparency.
