Absa Cape Epic

Anna Foundation is one of our longest-standing Official Development Partners at the Absa Cape Epic, and a partnership we are incredibly proud of. As a proudly South African event within the IRONMAN Group, it’s deeply important to us to invest in the communities that shape our race. Over many years, through a range of initiatives - including those driven alongside our IRONMAN Foundation - we’ve seen first-hand the meaningful impact Anna Foundation continues to make at grassroots level, uplifting young lives through sport and creating real, lasting change in our country. We look forward to continuing this journey together, using the power of sport to inspire, uplift, and shape future generations for years to come.

Du Toits Kloof Wines

The Fairhills Association and Du Toitskloof Wines are proud to acknowledge the outstanding work and unwavering commitment of the Anna Foundation and their team in implementing the after-school programme at Lorraine Primary Farm School.

The Anna Foundation’s work ethic is exemplary. Their team goes beyond expectation – ensuring that facilitators are well-trained, continuously supported, and equipped with the necessary tools to create meaningful learning experiences. Their commitment to ongoing development through training sessions in reading, mathematics, and life skills shows their investment in both learner and facilitator growth. Equally noteworthy is their collaborative spirit. The Anna Foundation has worked seamlessly with the Fairhills Association, Du Toitskloof Wines and Lorraine Primary staff to ensure that the programme’s goals align with the needs of the children and the community. Their communication, professionalism, and accountability have made them a trusted partner in education and child development. Through their passion, integrity, and consistent effort, the Anna Foundation continues to transform lives—offering vulnerable children safety, purpose, and hope for a brighter future. It's Worth It

Sponsoring Anna Foundation is an act made in confidence, knowing your contribution will empower, educate, and grow children and women in rural communities

Food boxes to support the Anna Foundation’s after-school programmes help fuel young minds with the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive. It’s a simple reminder that when organisations come together with a shared purpose, small acts can create lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Sponsor FAQs

Where is an immediate need I can support as a sponsor for Anna Foundation?

There are many ways to make an immediate impact, from sponsoring educational resources and after-school programmes to supporting meals, transport, sports equipment, literacy initiatives, and safe learning spaces for children in rural communities. We have ongoing needs and active campaigns that make it easy for you to get involved.

You can also offer donations in kind, media support, race-entry sponsorship, or long-term friendship.

As an Anna Foundation sponsor, you will support children and families in rural farming communities through programmes focused on education, emotional well-being, sport, life skills, and long-term personal development.

Yes, we provide donors with a half term report as well as a final report following the end of the sponsored period. This report illustrates the progress and impact made during the funding period, as well as a clear breakdown on all financial spend. In addition all donors receive our Annual Report.

We  make use of both formal and informal assessments to monitor our impact.

  • Formal assessments are done twice per year, tracking younger children’s phonic recognition and older learners’ reading level as well as reading comprehension. Assessments also track learners’ understanding of numbers and mathematical operations. These formal assessments give us data to record progress and monitor the success of our interventions.
  • Informal assessments are done by project managers and facilitators who work on a daily basis with the learners and are able to provide qualitative feedback on each child. Daily registers are taken at every project to track attendance. High attendance rates indicate a successful project and that children feel the programme has a positive and valuable impact on their lives. Poor attendance would indicate disinterest in the programme from the children.
  • Registered non-profit charity organisation and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO)
