MOBILE EDUCATIONAL LIBRARY IN RURAL COMMUNITIES OF SOUTH AFRICA

Your support will provide 600 rural children with access to educational resources, library books, computer programmes and cycling opportunities!

The Challenge We're Addressing

A donation as small as R100 can help fund:

  • Educational material and stationery for learners in the rural communities of Rawsonville, South Africa
  • Access to library books and a trained librarian
  • Computer and Wifi access for educational purposes
  • New bicycles and a designated cycling coach

Every donation goes directly towards running our mobile education centre which travels between communities of the Western Cape.

The Project Being Supported

In a new and exciting initiative the Anna Foundation 3 Rs Programme is now offered as a mobile education centre in the Rawsonville area of the Western Cape. A refurbished heavy-duty semi-trailer truck sponsored by Du Toitskloof Wines has been equipped as a mobile library, stocked with reading material for all ages and containing computers and Wi-Fi as well as bicycles donated by the IRONMAN Foundation. This unit is set to change the landscape of education for these rural communities.
